FAQ's:

Q - What is a Silent Party Auction?

  A - A silent party auction is an online auction, where teachers have submitted parties for their classrooms.  The winning bid will receive the party for their entire class to enjoy with the teacher.  For example, if the teacher has advertised a pizza party, and you win the auction, then the student & their class will receive pizza (during class) on the date chosen by the teacher.

Q - Why can't I pick what date my student receives the party?

 A - Based on testing schedules, end of year learning, and activities, we feel it's best to have the teacher be the one to set and approve of the best date for a party.  All parties will take place during class time.

Q - Are there items which aren't parties?

  A - Yes, there are PTA membership auction items, front of the lunch line passes, principal for a period passes, front row tickets for 8th grade graduation, and so much more.

Q - What if I just want to donate to Haggard PTA?

 A - In the 32auctions site, you can donate funds directly to Haggard PTA.

Q - How much does Haggard PTA Pay to host the auction on 32auctions?

 A - For full transparency, running an auction does cost Haggard PTA a small percentage through 32auctions.  A transaction fee of 2.9% or $.40 per online payment donation will be charged in addition to any PayPal transaction fees.  However, participants do have the ability to cover the transaction fees.  In addition, most parties will have small up front costs for the food or supplies which PTA will cover through the auction funds.

Q - I won an item for the '25-'26 school year.  How will people get in touch with me over the summer?

 A - You will receive an email from waysandmeans@haggardpta.org with the details & contact information for receiving your prizes in the '25-'26 year.
